Bill Kirkpatrick:  Cat Photos

“The problem isn’t cats; it’s cat people.”

                                  -- Jennifer Wang

Gehrig watches the ‘Skins lose to the Cowboys again.  He’s the only real football fan in the house--odd, since he’s named for a baseball player.

Max got a piece of ribbon stuck to his nose.  First we grabbed the camera and shot the photo, then we cleared his breathing passages.

Max came to our house when he was 11, and he never quite learned certain rules of the house.  It probably doesn’t help that we enforce those rules very inconsistently.

Don’t tell anyone, but Gehrig actually ghost-wrote my dissertation for me.

Caught red-handed doing ... well, something.

Okay, that’s just cute.  Note:  We did not put the blanket over him; he tucked himself in.

Just a funny photo of Max sleeping in an improbable position, as cats will do.

Maxie doesn’t know there are compromising pictures of him on the web.

This picture was taken by my very talented brother-in-law, Pete Nekola.  See more of his work here.

I’m biased, but I think that if you do a Google search for “soft,” this photo should come up.
